"One Prayer, One Painting" is a small artwork that has been praying for the quick end of the war between Russia and Ukraine since its beginning and has continued to be painted. It was exhibited for the first time at the "Golden Age" venue of the Art Expo New York, in which I participated last month.

The regular price is $500, but with $400 support from the Crystal Foundation, buyers can purchase the artwork for $100 during a limited-time sale. Thanks to the promotion by curator Xinya Li and the young staff members at the venue, as well as the efforts on social media, sales have been going well.

On May 10th, one month after the expo, Xinya received a check from the Crystal Foundation. In addition to the actual support, the check also contained encouraging messages for the staff from artist Lin Shibao. The amount received was higher than expected. It will be donated to the Shield Art Foundation, which was established for humanitarian art and will be used exclusively for supporting Ukrainian artists.

The "One Prayer, One Painting" exhibition is currently taking place at TAAC (Taiwanese American Arts Council), and I will personally participate there from June to July for the production, exhibition, and sale of the artwork. In addition, we are considering events at Ukrainian churches and restaurants in downtown, as well as outdoor concerts by musicians. We will be going to various places, so I hope you will also join this project.
