Asian artist Shih Pao Lin is launching the "One Painting One Prayer" series. The series made its debut at the New York Art Expo in April this year and is still ongoing, with pop-up exhibitions appearing in various locations throughout New York City. Since the start of the Ukraine war last year until today, Lin has been creating a painting every day, documenting his meditative and prayerful state of mind for peace. He hopes to promote peace and love to the world through his artwork and bring warmth from the Asian community to the Ukrainian community. Curator Xinya Li and the artist felt the enthusiasm of the Ukrainian community when they visited All Saints Ukrainian Church.

Shih Pao Lin said, "After hearing my concept, some people were even moved to tears. Art has such a wonderful energy that can unite people of different ethnicities and countries."

Each artwork measures 5 x 7 inches and is created using mixed media, with a value of $500 each. To ensure the accessibility of the artwork to all audiences, buyers only need to pay $100 for each "One Painting One Prayer" artwork, with the remaining amount sponsored by Cohesion Window Aluminum. The proceeds from the series will be used to assist Ukrainian artists with their living and legal expenses in the United States, without any profit gained.

"One Painting One Prayer" exhibition schedule: From May 12th to July 14th, every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday at Streecha Ukrainian Restaurant, 33 E 7th St, New York, NY 10003.

From May 19th to June 19th, daily at St. George Ukrainian Catholic Church, 30 E 7th St, New York, NY 10003.

From May 14th to July 14th, every Sunday from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm at All Saints Ukrainian Church, 206 E 11th St, New York, NY 10003 (On June 11th, the church leader will especially attend the worship service, and the artist will give a public speech, accompanied by an orchestral performance).

From June 1st to July 31st, daily at Governors Island, 10 South Street, New York, NY 10004.

Curator Xinya Li introduced that the series is mainly set in various European countries, Taiwan, Japan, New York City, the artist's studio, and Crystal Park. Among them, the private exhibition "Sacred Mountain Project" inside Crystal Park serves as inspiration and subject matter, occupying a significant proportion in the series.

Xinya Li also serves as the curator of the private exhibition "Sacred Mountain Project" at Crystal Park. She mentioned that although Cohesion Villa is a secluded residence in the mountains, the exhibition is open to the public for four days during the ArtEast Open Studio Tour in October each year, welcoming interested visitors to come.
